The Darker Side Of Victory

Like Time magazine in 2005, it's speculated that Kasim Reed’s political operation “O.J. Simpson-ed” a political opponent in the Atlanta school board race.

In neighborhoods that are quickly gentrifying, Reed’s political machine altered photos to make the opponent’s skin tone appear darker then it is in real life while asking, ironically, “Would You Trust Someone Like This With Your Children?”

Sadly the AJC missed the story and stepped over the body in its reporting of the crime.

“In a year of scandal and leadership change at Atlanta Public Schools, talk of cross-dressing and dirty rap lyrics has dominated the final days of a district election to the school board.”

For the moment, put aside the cross-dressing and dirty rap lyrics. The below two mailers tell a larger story and illustrate exactly what Reed’s political machine is capable of and prepared to do.

Business Threatening Lawsuit Over Airport Contract

WAGA Fox 5's veteran city hall reporter Morse Diggs says the airport concessions lawsuits will begin this week if Mayor Reed refuses to go with the highest bidder.

It is unclear why the Reed Administration is recommending a company that is guaranteeing FEWER DOLLARS to the city but it’s likely a pending lawsuit will reveal whether friends of the mayor are involved.

It’s time to raise the tent and bring in the clowns.

Kasim Reed Skips His Own World AIDS Day Event

Although Mayor Kasim Reed is skipping his own event, the City of Atlanta will again mark World AIDS Day by bathing City Hall in red, offering free HIV testing and an observance. Reed is not scheduled to attend, but is dispatching Chief of Staff Candace Byrd to the event.
